US Cabinet Depot, which everyone on our team just calls USCD, is our best value cabinet brand: the line with the lowest prices of the five manufacturers we sell at Universal Factory Direct, alongside Forevermark and ROC Cabinetry. USCD covers two very different looks under one manufacturer. The Capital Collection is a traditional, framed cabinet box with a face frame around every opening, built in five door styles. The altaeuro Studio Series is a frameless, European-style cabinet box more common in modern and minimalist kitchens, offered in special-order supermatte, high-gloss, and textured finishes.

Both lines come from the same plywood-box manufacturing standard, so "best value" at USCD does not mean cutting corners on construction. It means USCD keeps its finish count and customization options tighter than our other brands, which lets us sell it at a lower price while still backing it with soft-close hardware and dovetail drawer boxes.

The Shaker door is Capital's most popular profile, offered in White, Antique White, Dove, Grey, Ivy, Navy, and Black, plus Unfinished, Honey, and Cinder wood-tone finishes. The Oxford door steps up the detail with a traditional raised profile in White, Cashmere, Sage, Mist, and Toffee. Haven offers a softer shaker profile in Dune, Sage, Harbor, Ridge, and Ember. Edgeline is a clean, contemporary framed slab in White and Ridge, and Casselberry is a furniture-style raised panel door in Antique White and Saddle, designed for a more traditional kitchen.

The altaeuro Studio Series offers more than 35 special-order door styles and colors across three panel technologies. Zenit is a supermatte, solvent-free UV-lacquered finish with a silk texture that resists fingerprints and scratches, offered in neutrals, warm tones, and blues and greens like Agave and Azul Indigo. Luxe is a high-gloss, mirror-effect lacquered finish in solid colors and wood grains such as Picasso and Rosales. Syncron is a textured, engineered-wood finish made from 70% recycled material that recreates the depth of real wood grain across an extensive range of light, mid-tone, and dark wood designs.

Each technology is available in the modern Slab door profile, and select Zenit and Syncron colors are also available in the Slim Cava profile, a shaker-inspired door with a routed center panel. Doors are made to order and typically ship in 18 to 20 business days, fitting the same standard altaeuro frameless box regardless of finish.

"Best value" and "lowest priced" can be red flags with cabinetry, since plenty of inexpensive brands get there by swapping plywood for particleboard or skipping soft-close hardware. USCD does neither. Both the Capital Collection and the altaeuro Studio Series use real plywood boxes, dovetail or altamax drawer construction, and soft-close hinges and glides as the baseline, not an upgrade. The savings come from a tighter, more efficiently manufactured finish lineup rather than from a weaker build.

Because we sell USCD factory-direct instead of through a traditional retail showroom, the value stacks: customers typically see 30%–60% off retail off comparable retail cabinet pricing on top of USCD's already accessible price point, which often leaves room in the budget for an upgraded countertop or a matching kitchen hood.
