Yes! There is NO Particle or “pressed” wood in any of our products. The cabinets are all 100% birch plywood, with solid wood (or metal) corner brackets.
¼ inch Plywood*, on all sides and bottom panels. Each is reinforced with solid wood (or metal bracket) corners. Hard wood frames and Blum hardware (hinges and slide guides).
(*Our research found no additional structural benefits to 1/2 inch plywood vs. 1/4 inch in the use or longevity of the cabinets).
Our framed cabinetry features four-sided drawer boxes constructed from 5/8” thick solid hardwood, dovetail joints, and a fully captured 3/8” thick plywood floor. Poplar or Birch solid wood, Dovetailed Drawers, Solid bottom panel with Blum undermount side glides.
Each manufacture offers a different term of warranty, ranging for 1 year to Lifetime. Note: the higher the cost of the product, the longer the warranty. Manufacturer Defects, shipping damage, and similar are always replaced immediately, with our Universal hassle free Guarantee!

All stained finished doors, drawer fronts, and frames are constructed from 3/4” solid Birch hardwood. Some have a solid birch center panel, while our stained have a veneered MDF center panel.
Our painted styles feature an all HDF* (High Density Fiber) doors which are Are they easy to clean and maintain.
*HDF doesn’t warp, dry out or crack like natural wood, making the doors and drawer more durable and last a lifetime.
There are 100s of “accessories” that manufactures offers. From trash pullout trays, tall cabinets with Roll Out Trays, Lazy Susan Corners and Glass inserts for doors… the options are endless, however, the more accessories, the higher the price of the cabinet line.
Our “Quick ship” line has 18 door styles to choose from, which can be delivered in 15 days. Most lines will be delivered in under 4 weeks. All deliveries are direct from the manufacturer to your home, offering curbside delivery (we can schedule the truck to arrive when your installer is there to receive it). Higher priced lines offer “inside” delivery.
The most economical manufacturers ship the cabinets via common carriers, on pallets. The trucking company will lower the pallets to the ground and your contractor or installer would bring the items into your home. One person with a hand-truck or 2 wheeled dolly can handle it easily. Some manufacturers offer inside delivery, which come with a higher price point product.
Yes, our installers can do the demolition and removal of the old kitchen, for an additional fee.

Yes, we have a line of top-quality pulls, handles and knobs. However, you can always go online and save more money, and find 1000s of styles and colors to choose from on Amazon.
Quartz is the hottest product for counter tops today. It is a man-made material that does not absorb moisture, stain, peel and can withstand heat and cold placed directly on it. It’s easy to clean and maintain, and costs less than other counter-top materials.
Damaged items are replaced immediately with expedited shipping. Simply take photos of the exterior packaging, photos or the damaged items and anything else that needs to be addressed. Send them to Damage@UFD1.com for immediate attention and replacement. NOTE: do not install any damaged items.
We offer all our cabinets fully assembled by the manufacturer. If there is a need to receive them “RTA (unassembled) this can be arranged and offer additional savings.
That said, the assembly is time-consuming, detailed and requires the proper tools to ensure compliance with the terms of the warranty.

Pumps are made by LX and Electrics by Gecko, both are top quality manufacturers.
While the warranty is 3 full years, pumps, heaters, and electronics last well over 10 years, and some as long as 20 years. Conditions apply, based on environment and usage.
No, there are many qualified pool and spa service companies in the area.
Yes. Covers are fitted for the specific Tub and have 4 corner clips to secure the cover from children and the elements.
Accessories like Cover lifters and Steps are optional, at Universal we include them with each Hot Tub.
Yes, we have contracted with a local delivery company that specializes in Hot Tub Delivery. They will remove the packing materials and position the tub in your desired location. They will also install the cover lifer and steps. If you need a gate or screen removed to gain access, they will remove and replace it for an additional fee.
Yes, we have a forklift to place the tub on your trailer (must be a minimum of 6’ wide with no side rails) or on to a “flatbed truck”. Bring straps to secure the tub to the trailer. Be sure to have 4 “strong friends” to get it off the truck and in place at its destination.

Yes, like ordering from Home Depot or Lowes, or anything on the internet, we take payment in full. While the cabinets may be ‘stock items’ the order is completely unique to your design and needs. Therefore, it customize and requires payment in full. If you have concerns about not receiving your order, your credit card is your security.
